Built by people who've been there

Altura Recovery was founded by people in recovery, for people seeking it. We watched Houston families bounce between programs that felt like factories — places where no one knew their name, where insurance was a fight, and where the phone went to voicemail. We built the opposite: a small, accountable outpatient center where dignity comes first and the team that answers your call is the team that walks with you.

Houston addiction treatment center options are plentiful, but a Bellaire rehab that's small enough to know every client by name is rarer. That's the gap we set out to fill.

Our approach

We rely on treatments with decades of research behind them — cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care — and we bring families into the process, because addiction affects everyone who loves the person struggling.
