You receive therapy and psychiatric medication management coordinated under one plan, so your providers actually talk to each other. That means the LCDC running your group knows what your psychiatric provider just adjusted, and your individual therapist knows the trauma work you've done in group. This is woven into our PHP and IOP programs at every level.
Therapy approaches include CBT for depression and anxiety, prolonged exposure and CPT for PTSD, DBT skills for emotion regulation, and motivational interviewing throughout. We're trauma-informed, which simply means we know how trauma shapes behavior and we don't punish people for it.
Our psychiatric provider can prescribe and adjust non-controlled medications for depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and sleep, as well as evidence-based addiction medications when appropriate. We do not prescribe controlled stimulants or benzodiazepines as part of our program. Medication is one tool among many — never the only one.
