Altura Recovery is a Joint Commission accredited outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center located in Bellaire, just 25 minutes from Katy via I-10 West. Our clients from Katy get the clinical quality of a major-metro program without the disruption of leaving home — they live at home, sleep in their own bed, and many keep their full-time jobs.
Katy is part of Harris, Fort Bend, and Waller counties, and the people we treat from the area often come from Cinco Ranch, Cross Creek Ranch, Grand Lakes, and Firethorne, around Katy Mills and LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch. Katy straddles three counties along the I-10 Energy Corridor, and the westbound drive can stretch in rush hour — many Katy clients pair a lighter in-person schedule with Virtual IOP.
We're independently owned, small on purpose, and built for adults who want to recover without putting their life on hold. Most of our clients work full-time, raise families, and live within 30 minutes of our Bellaire location. We're in-network with the major Texas insurers (Ambetter, Katy-area BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and Curative members often have strong in-network benefits after deductible) and we accept most major EAPs.
Our clinical team includes a psychiatrist, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), and licensed clinicians who specialize in addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. When you call Altura, you reach a real person — often the same person who'll guide your care.
From Katy, take I-10 West into the West Loop and exit at Bellaire Boulevard. Total drive time is about 25 minutes. We're at 5555 West Loop South, Suite 240, in Bellaire — easy parking, secure building, private entrance. Many Katy-area clients arrange carpools with other clients in their group; ask our admissions team if that would help.
Katy sits toward the outer edge of the metro, so a daily drive to Bellaire is a real commitment. Many Katy clients get the same clinicians through our Virtual IOP and reserve in-person visits for when they fit.
We treat substance use disorders including alcohol, opioids and prescription pain medications, cocaine and stimulants, methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, and cannabis — alongside co-occurring anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health conditions.
Most Katy-area clients can complete a free insurance verification, schedule an intake assessment, and begin treatment within 3 to 7 days of their first call. Call or text 713-766-1330 or verify your insurance online.
