Sober Living

A Safe, Structured Path Toward Long-Term Recovery in Weston Lakes

In Weston Lakes, people know how important community support is, especially when it comes to overcoming challenges like addiction. At Altura Recovery, we offer sober living services that really make a difference in the lives of individuals and families in our area. Imagine living in a safe, encouraging environment where you can work on your recovery while still enjoying the comforts of home. That is exactly what we provide. Our sober living program is designed to help you transition smoothly from treatment to everyday life, giving you the tools and support you need to stay on the right path. What sets us apart is our commitment to personalized care. We understand that recovery is not a one-size-fits-all journey. Each individual has unique needs and challenges, which is why we take the time to get to know you. Our team has years of experience in addiction treatment and mental health support, so you can trust that you are in good hands. We focus on evidence-based practices that have proven effective, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These therapies can help you develop coping skills and strategies that are crucial for maintaining sobriety. Living in Weston Lakes has its perks, and being part of a supportive community is one of them. We have seen firsthand how local connections can make a big difference. For example, one of our residents recently shared how joining a local hiking group helped him bond with others in recovery. They would meet at the Weston Lakes Nature Park, explore the trails, and support each other through the ups and downs. It is moments like these that create lasting friendships and a sense of belonging, both of which are vital for a successful recovery. Our sober living services are not just about providing a roof over your head; they are about creating an environment where you can thrive. We offer flexible scheduling for our life skills coaching and family support services, making it easier for you to balance your recovery with work or other responsibilities. Whether you are a resident from nearby Bellaire or the Galleria area, you can easily access our programs. We are dedicated to ensuring that you have the support you need, no matter where you are coming from. One of the most significant aspects of our sober living program is our focus on dual diagnosis treatment. Many individuals struggling with addiction also face mental health issues, and we recognize the importance of addressing both. Our experienced staff is trained to provide psychiatric support, ensuring that you receive comprehensive care that considers your mental and emotional well-being. This integrated approach has led to remarkable outcomes for many of our residents, allowing them to regain control of their lives. We also understand that navigating insurance and financing can be overwhelming. That is why we work closely with you to explore coverage options, ensuring that you can access the care you need without added stress. Our goal is to make recovery accessible and manageable for everyone in the Weston Lakes community. Trust is a big deal when it comes to choosing a sober living program. You want to know that the place you are turning to has a proven track record of helping people just like you. At Altura Recovery, we take pride in our results. Our residents often leave not only sober but equipped with the skills and support networks they need to stay that way. We have heard countless success stories from our community, showing that recovery is not just a dream but a reality that can be achieved with the right support. Who Needs Sober Living?

Sober living isn’t just for people who have nowhere else to go. It’s for people who:

  • Are early in recovery and know they still need accountability and structure
  • Have completed PHP, IOP, or SOP and are stepping down gradually
  • Want to avoid returning to environments where substance use or toxic dynamics were present
  • Are rebuilding their lives after residential treatment, incarceration, or long-term instability
  • Are working, attending school, or reconnecting with family—and want support while doing so

Whether you’re a young adult navigating new independence or an adult starting over after decades of addiction, structured sober housing provides the consistency and support needed to stay on track.
