If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, finding the right support can feel overwhelming, especially in La Porte. At Altura Recovery, we understand how important it is to have a safe, welcoming environment during the recovery process. Our sober living services are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals who are committed to building a healthier, more fulfilling life. We are not just another recovery center; we are a part of this community, and we genuinely care about the people we serve. La Porte is a tight-knit community where neighbors look out for one another. It is not uncommon to hear stories of someone overcoming their struggles and finding a new path forward. Just recently, we had a client who grew up in the area and returned after years of battling addiction. With the support of our sober living program, they were able to reconnect with family and friends, and now they are actively involved in local community events. It is stories like these that remind us why our work matters. Our sober living services provide a structured yet flexible environment, allowing residents to focus on their recovery while still engaging with their daily lives. This is especially important for those who have responsibilities, like work or family commitments. We offer various levels of support, ensuring that everyone gets the personalized care they need. Whether you require a sober living environment after completing a treatment program or are just starting your recovery journey, we are here to help. What sets us apart is our commitment to evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). These approaches help individuals develop coping strategies and rebuild their lives. Our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to creating a supportive atmosphere where you can feel comfortable discussing your challenges. We know that recovery is not just about stopping substance use; it is about building a new life. We also recognize that recovery does not happen in isolation. That is why we offer family support services as part of our sober living program. We believe that involving loved ones in the recovery process can make a significant difference. Our team is ready to work with families to help them understand the challenges their loved ones face and how they can best support them. Another advantage of our sober living services in La Porte is the flexibility we offer. We understand that life can be hectic, and our scheduling reflects that. Who Needs Sober Living?

Sober living isn’t just for people who have nowhere else to go. It’s for people who:

  • Are early in recovery and know they still need accountability and structure
  • Have completed PHP, IOP, or SOP and are stepping down gradually
  • Want to avoid returning to environments where substance use or toxic dynamics were present
  • Are rebuilding their lives after residential treatment, incarceration, or long-term instability
  • Are working, attending school, or reconnecting with family—and want support while doing so

Whether you’re a young adult navigating new independence or an adult starting over after decades of addiction, structured sober housing provides the consistency and support needed to stay on track.
