Altura Recovery is a Joint Commission accredited outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center located in Bellaire, just 18 minutes from Stafford via US-59 / I-69. Our clients from Stafford get the clinical quality of a major-metro program without the disruption of leaving home — they live at home, sleep in their own bed, and many keep their full-time jobs.
Stafford is part of Fort Bend and Harris counties, and the people we treat from the area often come from the US-59 corridor near Stafford Centre, around Stafford Centre. Stafford is a compact city on US-59 between Sugar Land and Bellaire, close enough for a standing in-person outpatient schedule.
We're independently owned, small on purpose, and built for adults who want to recover without putting their life on hold. Most of our clients work full-time, raise families, and live within 30 minutes of our Bellaire location. We're in-network with the major Texas insurers (Ambetter, Stafford-area BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Cigna, and Curative members often have strong in-network benefits after deductible) and we accept most major EAPs.
Our clinical team includes a psychiatrist, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), and licensed clinicians who specialize in addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. When you call Altura, you reach a real person — often the same person who'll guide your care.
From Stafford, take US-59 / I-69 into the West Loop and exit at Bellaire Boulevard. Total drive time is about 18 minutes. We're at 5555 West Loop South, Suite 240, in Bellaire — easy parking, secure building, private entrance. Many Stafford-area clients arrange carpools with other clients in their group; ask our admissions team if that would help.
The Stafford commute is short and predictable, and Virtual IOP is there for the days an in-person session isn't practical.
We treat substance use disorders including alcohol, opioids and prescription pain medications, cocaine and stimulants, methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, and cannabis — alongside co-occurring anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health conditions.
Most Stafford-area clients can complete a free insurance verification, schedule an intake assessment, and begin treatment within 3 to 7 days of their first call. Call or text 713-766-1330 or verify your insurance online.
